Meet Julie Craig
Master Colorist & Makeup Artist
Julie graduated from Auburn International NY Beauty Academy in 1985.
Furthered her education in 1986 specializing in haircoloring she graduated
from Clairol advanced haircolor school in NYC., studied under Annie Humprhreys from Vidal Sasoon, Irvin Rusk, Scott Cole HUSA, Colorly and Aveda, sharpening her skills as a runway and platform artist.
After years of working with chemicals in our industry and her education in natural health and aromatherapy Julie sought out a healthier way of using hair color without the harsh chemicals in her salon. She became certified in Organic Color Systems Haircolor and Aromatherapy So Pure Haircoloring.
In 2007 along with her husband Terry Craig they opened their first organic salon under the name of Craig & Craig Artistry in Brevard NC. When the demand for natural products grew they expanded and opened
Rapture Organic Salon in 2013.
The Craigs are Wedding Hair & Makeup specialist working their skills in Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale/Orlando,NY, Boston and now Asheville/Brevard NC
Inspired as an artist on many levels Julie learned the Art of Silk Painting in 2003. Her silk scarves are in demand with her unique watercolor technique.

Meet Terry Craig
Master Hair Designer & Makeup Artist
Terry graduated from Robinson Beauty Academy in 1978. He furthered his education and mastered the skills in haircutting at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in 1978, and studied under Paul Mitchel,Irvin Rusk,Tony & Guy and Graham Web. With an interest in helping women feel more beautiful Terry also learned the art of makeup from master makeup artist Way Bandy, working at runway and commercials. Now he has brought the art of Airbrush Makeup to Asheville/Brevard NC.
With their skills well in hand along with his wife Julie Craig they became run way and teaching platform artists. The Craig's were the hair and makeup team that launched Lily Pulitzer's clothing at the Pulitzer mansion in Palm Beach Florida, covered by W Magazine. In 2010 Terry wrote and published his first book "The Cut" currently on sale through Amazon.com
